Hi I’m Abbie. I am your “go-to” Clinical Support Officer for all speech therapy enquiries. I’m a wiz at managing our speech calendar and I am here to make sure your child gets the support they need while working around parents’ busy schedules. I love working in a paediatric clinic as I’m passionate about helping families and seeing their young ones grow.
I also provide support to many of our adult clients through All Ears & Speech. I love seeing our regular clients, catching up on their recent family events and having a laugh. Chatting with clients as they leave their audiology appointments, hearing better and ready to try out new devices is fantastic. I am often amazed at the hearing technology used and always want to know more.
You will recognise me by my bubbly and warm personality over the phone and around our reception room in Colonel Light Gardens. I previously worked in administration for an Ear Nose and Throat surgeon and in July 2020 I moved over to our All Ears & Speech family.
You don’t need a referral to see an audiologist, although you may be able to access Medicare rebates when referred by an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist, a Neurologist, or if your child has a Team Care Arrangement. Alternatively, audiology sessions may be claimable from your private health provider. If you have access to funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) we can provide services to self-managed and plan-managed clients.
