Hi, I’m Kahlia. Whether you’re visiting our clinic in Colonel Light Gardens or calling us on the phone, I am usually the first friendly and warm voice you will hear. I take great pride in ensuring all our clients and their families feel welcomed and valued from the minute they arrive to the end of their appointment. I have many years of experience caring for children, and working with people of all ages with different abilities and from diverse cultural backgrounds. My background complements our practice perfectly.
Organisation is my thing and I thrive on attention to detail! I love working within the Clinical Support team at All Ears & Speech as it is fast-paced and I have the opportunity to use my administration skills developed from a strong background in allied health administration. I’m efficient and uphold a professional work ethic in all I do. This is important as I’m the NDIS “go-to” in the clinical support team. I am passionate about advocating for children and families navigating the NDIS and Allied Health systems, and I am always available to answer your questions.
At home, you will usually find me reading, and enjoying my beautiful garden, taking my daughter Eleanor to dance, or trying to get my son Lincoln off the computer games – yes teenage boy!
You don’t need a referral to see an audiologist, although you may be able to access Medicare rebates when referred by an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist, a Neurologist, or if your child has a Team Care Arrangement. Alternatively, audiology sessions may be claimable from your private health provider. If you have access to funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) we can provide services to self-managed and plan-managed clients.
