Lauren Iasenzaniro

Manager of Operations & Audiology

Hi, I’m Lauren Iasenzaniro (née Cauchi), Clinical Lead – Audiology at All Ears & Speech and Little Allied Health. I have been at All Ears & Speech and Little Allied Health since 2011 and thoroughly enjoy the varied caseload and the businesses commitment to advancing hearing healthcare through new initiatives and best practice. I completed my Master’s degree in Audiology in 2008 at Flinders University. Prior to this I completed my Bachelor of Medical Radiations (Nuclear Medicine) in 2006.

Since graduating my career has primarily focused on both paediatric audiology and complex adults. I have extensive experience in auditory processing assessment and management, and in obtaining and interpreting complex audiology information to ensure that recommendations made meet client’s listening goals. I have also spent considerable time in various indigenous communities in the Northern Territory and was awarded Graduate of the Year in the Australia Day awards in 2009 for my contribution of audiology services to Indigenous Australians.

I maintain my Certificate of Clinical Practice by actively participating in Audiology Australia’s continuing professional development program. I thoroughly enjoy supporting new team members to develop their audiology and professional practice skills to support their clients and families.

I love working in audiology and enjoy being a part of the positive outcomes from working with clients and families.

At home I have three young boys (yes Nicole jinxed me), Isaac, Archie and Jack and enjoy all the excitement of a busy household with my husband Michael. In the little spare time I have, I enjoy listening to music, shopping and spending time with my family and friends.

Do I need a referral to see an audiologist?

You don’t need a referral to see an audiologist, although you may be able to access Medicare rebates when referred by an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist, a Neurologist, or if your child has a Team Care Arrangement. Alternatively, audiology sessions may be claimable from your private health provider. If you have access to funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) we can provide services to self-managed and plan-managed clients.
