Hi, my name is Madison-Paige Wilson. I am an accredited Audiologist with Audiology Australia, having completed my Masters of Audiology at Flinders University in 2021. Prior to this, I completed a Bachelor of Health and Medical Science (Advanced), along with a Diploma of Languages.
My passion for working in audiology comes from my own lived experience with hearing loss. Having experienced hearing difficulties from a young age and now wearing a hearing aid myself, I understand the challenges and milestones people may experience along the way, and I am passionate about supporting others through similar experiences at every stage of life.
My career to date has focused on adult rehabilitation, where I have supported individuals with hearing loss and their loved ones to improve quality of life, stay connected, and remain engaged in the world around them. I recognise that everyone’s hearing journey is unique, and I enjoy getting to know each person to help find the support and solutions that are right for them.
With a background that also includes working with children and families, I am excited to be joining the All Ears & Speech and Little Allied Health team, and to continue expanding my skills in paediatric audiology.
Outside of Audiology, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling and exploring new cultures, and never say no to a glass of wine and a cheeseboard.
You don’t need a referral to see an audiologist, although you may be able to access Medicare rebates when referred by an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist, a Neurologist, or if your child has a Team Care Arrangement. Alternatively, audiology sessions may be claimable from your private health provider. If you have access to funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) we can provide services to self-managed and plan-managed clients.
