Nellie Roberts

Senior Audiologist

Hi, I’m Nellie Roberts. I completed my Master’s degree in Audiology in 2002 at Flinders University. Prior to this I completed my Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2000.

My career has primarily focused on providing cochlear implant and hearing aid rehabilitation to both paediatric and complex adults. It is a true privilege to join clients on their hearing journey and I find this a most rewarding experience. Prior to commencing work at All Ears & Speech and Little Allied Health, I enjoyed positions held at Hearing Australia in Victoria, the Sydney Cochlear Implant Centre (SCIC, a RIDBC service); the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide and various hospitals in the UK.

I maintain my Certificate of Clinical Practice by actively participating in Audiology Australia’s continuing professional development program. I am always ready and eager to implement new best practices based on recent research into our clinical practice.

At home I love cooking with my daughter Rose, playing Uno with my son Jack, and taking a dip in the ocean with my husband, Karl. In my spare time, you can find me hiking to the top of Mount Lofty.

Do I need a referral to see an audiologist?

You don’t need a referral to see an audiologist, although you may be able to access Medicare rebates when referred by an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist, a Neurologist, or if your child has a Team Care Arrangement. Alternatively, audiology sessions may be claimable from your private health provider. If you have access to funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) we can provide services to self-managed and plan-managed clients.
